About Project

Smilehome is an IOT-based smart home management web app for you to control and manage your intelligent home products more accessible and to live smarter.

Project Goals

Here the goal has been given in two ways.

To create a web application that enables users to control, monitor, and other automated electronics according to their specific needs and help them feel less worried about their property/belongings.

The purpose of a designer, goal is to design accordingly with design principles such that the user manoeuver seamlessly and the app must be more engaging with the user.

Problem

People are so preoccupied with the everyday routines that they forget items and leave electronics ON.
Individuals who travel away from home are worried about the security of their homes.
Walking about the house might aggravate and exhaust older folks.
Electronic appliances are left on, which causes fires and causes individuals to lose their homes and offices.
People want to know how much power they consume and how it compares to previous usages.

Solutions

It is to have a single application that monitors and controls their overall electronics and gadgets rather than multiple applications.
Before and post, alerts will be sent to the respective logged-in member to prevent mishaps.
Power consumption can be tracked and compared with the before usage. Also, limits can be set for power consumption, leading to auto turn-off/cutoff after certain limits are reached.
By organizing rooms and Providing different location options.
